The Construction Process
From concept to completion . . .
When you choose Suburban Homes to build your new house, you'll be
getting the best in quality and workmanship. Why? Because we only
sell factory-built housing, which is superior in quality and durability
than site-built homes. And since your home is built in the controlled
environment of a factory, you never have to worry about weather
damage during construction such as: warped lumber, water damage,
etc.
Although the home-building process may seem overwhelming, your Suburban
Home Consultant will make it seem like a day at the beach. Some
of the steps to expect are:
- Your Home Consultant will help you select a home that fits
your needs, your dreams, and your budget. You'll also have the
opportunity to select from hundreds of options to customize the
look and feel of your home. From cabinetry to flooring to appliances,
you'll be able to design a home that is uniquely you.
- With the help of your Home Consultant and our on-site Realtor,
you'll select the location for your new home. And whether that
location is in the country or a cozy subdivision, our team of
experts will handle all the work necessary to acquire that land
for you.
- Construction begins! Your new home is ordered from the factory
and is built to your specifications. The factory will build your
home in ready-to-assemble sections and ship it to Suburban to
be placed on your property.
- While your home is being built at the factory, Suburban's Licensed
Builders are hard at work preparing the foundation (basement or
crawl space), utilities and site improvements to accept your new
home.
- Almost ready! Once the foundation is complete, your new home
is assembled and placed on the new foundation by crane. All plumbing
and electrical connections are completed. All building inspections
are also completed.
- Time to move in to your new home!
